OK mate, but why would anyone use this dog if it has a reputation for throwing slow dogs? Surely there are pleanty of coursing dogs out there who have proved themselves at stud ? Good luck with your pup, hope it does what you want from it. Cheers. Quote Link to post

baldockbanks courser 598
if the dan dog was a good dog it would be due to the type of bitches he covered that the pups were slow, if that was the case then put the dog to a greyhound bitch they wont be slow then will they. if the bitch is to slow to do its job whats the point trying to breed from it he might as well buy a decent pup from a decent bitch. I bet hed get 2 good erns for the £800 which is what youd be releiving him of for a service ! ! ! Edited June 5, 2011 by baldockbanks courser Quote Link to post
coursing_lad 45
People seem to think its all one sided , if someone uses a stud , and offspring isn't up to scratch , why isn't it ever the dams faults , always the studs . It's 50/50 , same as pups themselves , 50/50 ....50% breeding 50% upbringing. Quote Link to post
