tom-praireCS 3
i'll start with some of my pellets i've tried, all of these i have tried in the same gun which is a Flacon Prairie CS .22. please feel free to add your and same in a different gun. RWS SUPERDOMES 8/10 VERY GOOD GROUPINGS WITH THE ACCURACCY FOR HUNTING AND THEY CAN BE SEEN EASILY WHEN TRAVELLING, AND ARE REASONALBY PRICED. ALTHOUGH THESE ARE FAIRLY WEAK RWS SUPER H POINTS 7/10 GOOD GROUPINGS BUT CAN GIVE ANNOMALIES. VERY SMOOTH MANAFACTURE AND FAIRLY CHEAP. COPPA-POINT-PELLETS (DIABLO EXTRA HARD) 7/10 GREAT POWER DELIVERY WITH HIGH IMPACT BUT THE HAVE A TENDANCY TO GIVE ANNOMALIES. NOT BADLY PRICED THOUGH AND ARE VERY VISABLE WHEN TRAVELLING. AA DIABLO HUNTER 10/10 BY FAR MY BEST PELLETS EVER USED AS THEY ARE HEAVY WITH LARGE IMPACT AND THERE GROUPINGS ARE UNBEATABLE. I MANAGED TO GET THEM FOR 500 FOR £7.50 ON EBAY. SMK SPITFIRES 5/10 THE THIRD CHEAPEST PELLETS AVAILABLE I FOUND. THEY HAVE IMPROVED THE QUALITY IN RECENT TIMES AND ARE BETTER AT GROUPING. BUT THEY GIVE YOU A 2-3INCH GROUP AT 25YARDS SO NOT HUNTABLE. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE VERY CHEAP AND ECONOMICAL. DAVID NICKERSON MAGNUM POINT 4/10 I WOULD DEFFINATELY NOT RECCOMMEND THESE THEY COST AS MUCH AS RWS'S BUT SHOOT WORSE THAN SMK'S. ALTHOUGH THEY DO COME IN A TIN WITH WHICH DISPENSES PELLETS INDIVIDUALLY. WASP 6/10 THESE I FOUND WERE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND WERE A GOOD PELLET FOR BACK GARDEN PLINKING AS THEY GAVE GOOD GROUPINGS WITH THE GREAT PRICE. NORICA KILLER (.177) 9/10 THESE WERE MORE ACCURATE THAN RWS SUPERDOMES AND CHEAPER. THEY EXPAND ON IMPACT FOR LARGER IMPACT SO ARE PROBABLY MORE LETHAL. THEY FLY WELL DUE TO THERE CYLINDER SHAPE. DAYSTATE FT DOMED 9/10 VERY ACCURATE PELLETS WITH GREAT FINISH. ALTHOUGH SAME PRICE AS DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF AA. THUNDERBOLT SUPREME HUNTING 9/10 THESE ARE EXTREMLY ACCURATE I FOUND IN A HW100T AND THEY ARE NOT BADLY PRICED. THEY ARE MADEFROM ZINC WHICH IS MUCH HARDER THAN LEAD ETC... I'VE REUSED SOME AFTER SHOOTING AT WOOD AS THEY ARE DEFORMED. THEY ARE BASICALLY BULLETS. SO PUT YOUR REVIEWS IN OF ANY CALIBRE (making sure to say and what gun) AND GIVE PEOPLE some advice for buying pellets CAN THIS BE PINNED AS I THINK IT COULD HELP PEOPLE OUT INFINATELY? markha 99
Not to snub your thoughts, but this topic has literally been done to death and it hasn't been pinned as its all subjective. The pellet that works for your particular barrel is the one that is best, Yes there are some rifle and pellet combinations that generally work well to start with, after that though its just down to the barrel and not all barrels are the same even on the same model from the same production run. Glad you have found a pellet that works for you. Quote Link to post

darren watson 14
I have heard good things about the falcon accuracy plus pellets, in a few different guns. It makes sense to try them in your falcon! Quote Link to post
