dose any one no how to stop a puppy howling i got it sunday and it dont stop makeing a noice. next doors not to please is there any think i can do

my seven week old collie/grey has just stopped crying on a night after a week, but youve got to expect it when theyve just left their mother, brothers and sisters, now she sleeps all the way through.

My 1st x collie greyhound pup joined us at 7 weeks old. We've had him three weeks now and he spends his nights in the kitchen with my old Border terrier and for the first couple of nights he made a bit of a noise for about 20 mins but he has been quiet since and sleeps all through the night.

My bullx pup was a howling c**t when I first got her but its just a case of putting up with it because she will settle. One of my neighbours is always complaining about the dogs and this was another opportunity for them but as usual the police/dog warden/sspca officer were fine as soon as they knew it was a new pup.

 

Shouldn't take more than a week, if it does probably time for the baseball bat!
