k9delboy 138
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please. I was at a friends house today and he has a license to kill game. He gets it from his main post office every year for £6. Now i ask, do i need one and what difference does having one make ?. I own a 22 rim fire and also two shotguns but i had never heard of this type of license before, yis Del.

danw 1,748
Game licences are still required in Scotland they only stopped them in England and Wales so your mate is correct to shoot game you need a licence http://www.basc.org.uk//en/departments/game-and-gamekeeping/gamekeeping/game-licences.cfm Edited June 2, 2011 by danw
