LDR 29
I had this a few years ago when my bitch killed a cat on the estate i lived on, f**k me what a fiasco it turned out to be!!!!! I never really thought much of it, just bad timing on the side of the cat, slung the f****r on the rail line and never gave it another thought, then posters came round the estate saying please look in your sheds and garages for 'tiddles' or whatever its name was, i simply made a passing remark to someone that there was no point looking for it.... ..... this person told a friend who had a freak of a friend with 14 cats, and a complete anti, who knew someone who knew the owner..... ....... so totally oblivious to anything, i get a knock on the door, to see this bloke beetroot red in the chops, steam coming out of his ears, screaming on about something to do with a cat and my dogs!!! He then started to see fit to threaten me and the wellbeing of my dogs if i wasn't carefull, as he retreated to his car...... ...... as i was coming out to ask him what was wrong...... ....... he started his car and came roaring towards me and off up the road, so i watched and got a bit of his number plate and saw him turn into one of the cuts on the estate, went and checked what house he lived in and reported the whole thing to the filth!!!! The police turn up take a statement go round to his, come back ask about the cat, told them it was an accident...... turns out that cats are classed as feral when they leave the confines of a house....... ....... now i know this will upset cat lovers, but thats the way it is, unless you specifically go out of your way to kill a cat with dogs, there's f**k all that the filth can do, i was advised for the future that if i thought there might be cats in the area to keep a closer eye on my dogs, thats it....... :thumbs-up: ........ one last thing though, the thing i found most amazing about the whole thing, the guy who come round gobbing off..... it wasn't even his cat........ ....... it belonged to his lesbian neighbours.......... TOPPER 1,809
as alaw abiding justice of the peace i can say that cats are classed as feral once they leave there property so if your dogs kill the cat on your property you have nothing to worry about, if they should kill it down the road or in the park then the cat owner could take civil action against you [very costly] but if they whing to the rspca the chances are they will fund the action. if nobody sees it happen then road kill is the answer if you place it right they would have a hard job proving anything. on a personal note shoot the thing no cat no problem

BIG DIG 0
I have been to court twice about my terrier killing neigbour s cat .As the law stood last year if your dog kills a cat on your property if your dog is fenced in and cannot get out a cat is classed as fair game provided you are the home owner . I got in trouble last year had to get solisiter but it rangled in court for 2 sittings got off with an apoligy I had to show a little remorse. A month later the dog killed an other it went to court again and this time was throne out and the owner of the cats was told to control them not to let them stray but thats impossible with a cat just waiting for the next one to stray in now . DiStuRBeD 0
why dont you catch it and bring it down the cats home ! or else just do what id do and leave the dogs do what they want to do on there own land of course sure if the cat wants to come on your land its fair game but its different if there out on the road! good way to do it or as a guy i knew once did, the cat from next door got had by his bull terrier, so he tried to cover it up, dumped it in a bin, felt guilty for ages, then saw the neighbours kid, he was only a youngun, 10 or so, so he told him "mate i have some bad news, your cat came in here and xxx killed him" to which the kid replied "well he f****d up then didnt he" funny, yet true
wyliecoyote 0
As a large dog and cat owner im well aware that when my cat enters anyones garden particular ones with dogs in them hes putting himself at risk as anyone who came creeping into my garden without my permission would be...
