KittleRox 2,147
I,ve read somewhere that when you soak biscuits only use warm water, using HOT water reduces nutritional value Quote Link to post
The one 8,476
Ive seen kits with a blob of mush stuck to the top of there palettes with feeding soaked dry crap Quote Link to post
Jingo 6
to be honest the biscuits are to big for them to manage anyway at that age, just crush em up a bit and mix with a high protein cat food the jelly will do the rest with regards to softening them. usually only takes hour or two and their fine, as "the one" says though too many biscuits and the kits end up walking backwards trying to get the paste out their gobs. mine are just over 6 weeks old now so started feeding raw chicken/rabbit. had no problems so far. popnoodle 4
i use james welbeloved stuff which is nice and small for my kits. i put about 1-2 tablespoons worth of cold water in a full bowl thats about 2 handfuls of kibble, havnt had a problem while eating yet and when play fighting afterwards they dont have any stuck in mouth. learning the happy medium is the way forward, luckily i found it by accident by the looks of it. from where they climb in the bowl to get to wetter stuff underneath they tend to leave a sort of mush at the bottom that needs cleaning out every couple days Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
I genuinely think kits survive on dry food , not thrive. they are certainly more nippy when fed on dry watered down food , from personal experience kits fed on whole carcass come on a lot better than the ones fed on dry food , all experience gained by learning the hard way 1 Quote Link to post
