hello my 6 month old patterdale pup collapes this morning when i was out givein them fresh water.. just tiped over pead him self an started crying in pain and shakeing . i stroked him and he jumped up as if it never happened.. what is the cause of this and what do i do as i have to wait for my mum to get home before i can go to the vet ????

some kind of seizure/stroke maybe epilectic who knows mate vet will be the main option first pal but good luck with it anyway

yea have him in the shed nice and warm lol the same thing has happend with 2 of my mums chawawas and vet just said same thing as watchman .and if it happens again bring them back :hmm:

 

you sure there is nothing dodgey laying around the garden they might be picking up /eating seems strange its not the first time this has happened,slug pellets maybe anything like that just a thought

rang me mum and she comein home as chickens were killed over the weekend and my dog got the blame cause hes a (hunting dog) lol she thinks her partner could have poisned him!! if so he will be in a wheelchair as i am not a small 17 year old :)

EMM 3 dogs all doing the same thing poison may be involved . No waiting for mum get some one to get you to the vets or ask if your mum can get off work early :icon_eek:
