pregnant for 42 days usualy do get ones what are sometimes day early day late and nearer to the jill giving birth she will be bigger and teats starts to come out

42 days is average , but the old saying is between 40 & 44 days . to be honest if you saw the mating & removed the jill when the hob had done his job you will have a better idea of when the kits will be due.

 

If you just left them to it for a couple of weeks then its anybodys guess when they will be due :thumbs:

Hi all how long is a ferret pregnant for? what are the signs to look out for? I put my jill with a hob two weeks ago wanna be prepared thanks for any answers

 

 

if you don't even know how long she will be pregnant for maybe you will be far from prepared? sorry to sound harsh but you should know as much as possible way before you put your hob to your jill...

my jill is on 46 days today, if she dont have them tonite i think ill have to take her to vets :icon_eek:

i'd say she's having a phantom pregnancy if she still ain't dropped at 46 day's. mine just has. atb

thought had crossed me mind mate, the hob has never been bred from, so it is possible, not the end a the world tho if it is

actually be easier to buy in, litters of kitts are hard work :laugh:
