Bedlington Whippet

Recommended Posts

lamping shouldnt be a problem mate for a beddy whippet , and as for the smallness of the dog shudnt be a problem either , my lil 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington bitch is only 18'' but works really well on the lamp , keen as mustard and as good as my 28 '' deerhoundxgreyhound.

Lindsay,if i were looking for a decent rabbit dog "day and night"with better staminia and better feet i wouldnt overlook a bed x grey as these crosses are 1st class on rabbits, they come in about 22-23inch and if bred right you,ll get yourselve a wee belter of a bunny basher ;)

:drink: cheers gaz, dont suppose you have any pictures of one mate?? :hmm:

i bred several litters of the 1/2 breds and 3/4 whippet x beddys many years ago, very good noses and some of them never got the hang of the lamp because of that, they couldn't resist putting that nose to the ground. as a moocher upper they are hard to beat though.
