staffs riffraff 1,068
It's a shame about the collies going as they were the small farmers most important asset but with modern times and mass farming these smaller farms are being ate up and so are the dogs and people who know the land/livestock best which is a shame as to me you won't see a better working dog than a good collie now there mostly bred to do flyball Quote Link to post
STUNTMAN 552
Saw this lil'shit today and it made me think about this thread. He is called a "Fuzzy" a cow dog here in the western states used on cattle. He belongs to a rancher that we stopped by today as we were out running coyotes with the Stags. I know he looks like a toy but he isnt....He can move a rough cow around. I saw several today on a few ranches and I had forgot all about them.-STUNT P.S. 22-25" ATS this dude was around 45-50lbs hard condition. Edited June 5, 2011 by STUNTMAN Quote Link to post

A sheperd by me who used to have 1 collie who would bite you if you ever went to his place, this fecker would take you on , none of this crap from behind . And another dog he had there was ok with you quite friendly, you just carnt work them out at times. All my 1x colliegrey Bryn would do, is want to play football with you. Quote Link to post

taurasmark 10
First crosses can be a bit limited but when crossed back again to any other lurcher cross the dog of a lifetime can be owned. this is my 3/4 greyhound collie 11mths old I think 3/4 merle grey collies are the best looking combo of a lurcher one could wish for! 1 Quote Link to post
