andyfr1968 772
I use a 90, mate and to be honest I'd no idea that there was a Mk1 and 2 Mine's about 15 years old and if anyone does know what the score is, I'd be interested too.... Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Hi Andy. The MkI and MkII differ only in the stock design. As with all Weihrauch rifles from time to time, the stock has undergone a slight variation with a little more depth around the fore-end of the MkII. The MkI (yours) has a slimmer forestock. Very slight but noticeable changes mate. Like the stocks of my 2 HW80s vary slightly. Simon Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Thanks, Simon HW do tend to slightly change stock designs but they don't tend to shout about it when it's on the same model, like your 77 and 80s. I've done a little web search on this and there is indeed a Mk1 and 2 but the only difference I can find is slight changes to the trigger unit. I've an idea as to why they've changed it after looking at an exploded diagram, on the Mk1s it was very easy to feck up the safety re-set mechanism unless you knew exactly what you were doing when takeing the action in and out of the stock. Looking at the diagrams for the Mk2, it seems to me that they've resolved this issue. Dunno, may be wrong but that's how I read it... Cheers Edited May 31, 2011 by andyfr1968 Quote Link to post
