benny 0 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 went out ferreting yesterday with all five ferrets set for a full day, started well had 19 for dinner time hadn`t had to dig one, only three got out holes we hadn`t spoted, we was in woodland all the dead leaves made it hard work to find them little bolt holes but it didn`t do bad, then we move on to the edge of a corn field where the rabbits were making a mess of the crop, we had 10 more there only dug one i don`t mind a dig thou it`s not a days ferreting without a dig, ended up with 29, kept the kidneys,livers and all the other goodies for the ferrets, kept four for myself and got a pound each for the rest which bought me and the misses sunday dinner and a few pints at the local cant argue with that Quote Link to post
