I caught one once which had all its arse and around the bottom of the back rotten but the hare was still alive

I often find them like that it is caused by idiots shooting them up the arse when they are to far away,then they call coursing cruel bunch of old farts that should,nt be let out with a gun.

caught a hare with mixy last season

I have seen one or two over the years, with scabs on faces, I put it down to Pesticides.

Hares cant get Myxi.

Yes they can I was told by my vet to get my hare jabbed for mixy.

Was it a Belgian Hare? :whistling:
