Have seen lots lurchers work great with them and terriers but my Wippet was great I think any lurcher/greyhound cross or terrier would suffice mate youl get a bigger bag with the aid of a dog to chase down any escapees that slip out the net tab matt

Was thinking about a collie x greyhound? Or a beddyx wippet or somthing like that

Either of the above, or a mix of all of them... You wont regret it......

Bit of whippet in the mix is good for a ferreting dog, but not essential.

I also like a bit of collie in the mix if possible, but again, not essential.

hi mate i use a 3/4grey 1/4collie i would rather not go ferreting if i didnt take a dog when my back was bad he gets to the nets and pins them for me but a lot of the time i wont even use nets i love watching the dog give chase and you cover more ground without nets but thats just me. i think any cross would be good but i would go for something with collie in it mate.

Any dog can make life a hell of a lot easier by using its nose to mark a bury.It can make or break a day out, at least yor not netting up for nothing.

As for wich cross I'd go for a whippet bred lurcher with that early take off speed and the size to get into those hard to reach places
