good show alright. dont think the lurcher shoudve got best in show though, fell terrier was a cracker as were the whippit and foxhound.

i dont know but the 4 dogs in the ring where all crackers but the 3 judges picked it and thats how it goes and i dont see any reason why it should not have got it he was a fine animal

Matt, your show to day was a credit to yourself, your good wife and your show committe. We had a brilliant day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The judges did an excellent job, and the prizes and trophys were well thought through. The show was well supported by the good Canine folk from Northern Ireland and the weather was very nice which was an added bonus. I thought I was at a show back home, there were so many familar faces. We have won enough dog meal to do us a month. We arrived back home here in Portadown at 8.30pm a little tired, but a labour of love, a really enjoyable day.Congratulations to all the worthy winners, and especially to the guy who won the overall show Champion with his beautiful terrier. Sorry I dont know your name. Paul Reynolds won Whippet Champion with his wonder Whippet Chieftain, and to the young fellow who won the Lurcher Champion. Again I dont know your name. A really nice lurcher and congratulations. We also won the Whippet Puppy Class and Champion Whippet Puppy with our whippet pup Reilly, and Jessie our Lurcher, won the vetern class.Ann Forsythe won the whippet bitch class. Congratulations Ann,and our whippet bitch " Silver" won 3rd in the whippet bitch class also.Again Matt thank you for a great family day out. We are already looking forward to next years show.

Judge had a tough call in, IMO the red 5/8 dog should have won it over the black dog but every man to their own

that was a fine dog.

Black dog was a racier looking dog so think thats why he pipped it, judge took a long hard think about that one. Nice to see a worker come 2nd in the terrier section also
