lurcher330 2,297
If it's due to teething, I use to soak rope dog toys in water, freeze them, and give those to mine. They're very soothing, and kind of like having a chew and dental floss at the same time. I'd watch it with perfume, it might not be safe for the puppy, or you---if you use somebodys good stuff! i have3 tick ropes with large knots in them tied around the pen that she jumps up and hangs out off it keeps her occupied for a while but she soon moves on to her next thing to try and destroy. welshwizard 33
Have you tried that Piri Piri Sauce, that will put it's arse on fire. One sure fire way to stop it is to either Angle Iron or Dexion. Quote Link to post

scalesntails 118
Have you tried that Piri Piri Sauce, that will put it's arse on fire. One sure fire way to stop it is to either Angle Iron or Dexion. I use Daves Insanity Sauce. They will never dare chew it again. Nice in a ham sandwich too. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=266980520 Quote Link to post

Terrier Sam 297
I had a problem with one of mine when she was a pup. Anything like mustard, chilli sauce, grapefruit juice or lemon juice will do the trick on the kennel itself but I never found a bed that she didn't wreck. I gave up in the end and whenever she pulled the stuffing out the bed, I just put it all back in the kennel. "Indistructable beds" are a pile of shite. When they are described as "Indistructable" all it means is they can charge you double the price and its made of thicker stuff. I have a 7 month old patt pup now and since I got her they have always been on meat and bones. I've noticed the odd bit of chewed wood in the kennel but nothing compaired to the last time Good luck with it! Sam Quote Link to post
