Ideation 8,216
At least six days a week. Good mix of various meats, preferably whole carcass. Dry as a standby. Can supplement with (lactose free/ kitten / goats) milk and egg. Don't put too much in at once or it will go off. In summer feed at night or use dry to avoid flys etc. Quote Link to post
joe14 98
I feed mine dry ferret food 24/7 & raw meat such as rabbit, phesant, chicken wings or mince at night. To give them abit of variety I use a mix of dry, they also get raw egg once a week & cat milk. Edited May 29, 2011 by joe14 Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
Wouldn't it be easier to enquire what there already being fed on & if there present diets not an ideal one just introduce them to a decent diet Quote Link to post
martnmagik 68
fresh meat all year round for mine and also as strange as it sounds 2 of them like munching on cabbage stalks Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
Mine get dry food all day so they can pick at it whenever they want. When I'm home from work or before i go if I've got time I will give them meat. Whatever I've got. Used to be rabbit or crow/ pigeon but now I'm not out as much I give them chicken wings from tesco. really cheap £2 for about 8. They love them. Give them a raw egg once every now and then. If you freeze a packet of catfiod and give them that in the hot weather they love that Quote Link to post

vduben 55
ive been told porks bad for them? Quote Link to post
ferret100 47
ive been told porks bad for them? Reformed/processed pork isn't good at all, the salt content can kill ferrets. But bits of fresh pork everynow and then is fine. Personally I only feed a bit of fresh pork if there is any spare (hardly ever!) Quote Link to post
