Wanted Anybody do ferreting around Edinburgh/ surrounding areas

Hi, I'm looking for someone around the Edinburgh area who does ferreting to show me the ropes. I've done a bit before but nothing much. I've got 3 kits- 1 is 15wks, the other 2 are 8 wks. Looking for somebody to go out with to get sum experience. Obviously mine aren't ready to go. Thanks

Remember fereting in months with 'R' in them...

 

But with seasons changing, its later than September you can start these days... And a lot are finished before March, as well.

get a few books read up and get your locator and nets a good digging spade and go get um. the best way to meet like minded folk is out in the fieds good luck.

Where's the best place to get a collar, they are expensive like. Around 150!!!!! Do need one though. Also Joe many nets should i get to start? Thnx
