Hannah4181 260
They are great Paul . . . but for me, the dogs are no where near as well captured as they are in your general shots, their very soul comes out when you get them in a more natural surrounding . . . . i just don't dig studio photography, it has its place but not for me.
Coyotehunter 689
[ Very nice mate, can you show us your set up please. sure can Martin, its a very modest set up They are great Paul . . . but for me, the dogs are no where near as well captured as they are in your general shots, their very soul comes out when you get them in a more natural surrounding . . . . i just don't dig studio photography, it has its place but not for me. Hannah its not really studio lighting as such its totally portable so that if you want to take it outside on location you can anyway here's a few pics of my setup and kit clip on image to make bigger

PINNACLE 2,297
I think they are really good and the lighting is very nice IMO. Lots of people like the studio style, I got asked the other day by a friend of my wife if I knew a studio where she could take her horse for photos! She ended up getting a pro photographer down to the yard and paid a fair bit too. Can't wait to see how they turn out there are another 20 odd people down there so £££ me think thinks. As for totally portable, I hate to see what you take on hols

As for totally portable, I hate to see what you take on hols Honest it is portable !! the softbox part just folds down like an umberella and the stand too, and the flash is just the same as the one that goes on top of the camera, it all folds down to about a 3ft long 4in x 4in box !!! Shuttleworth 0
You've a good setup there, Both photos are very good, I do like the first one though, I like the DOF on the lower body, the focus on the right eye is very clear. Well done. Edited May 30, 2011 by Shuttleworth
