Congratulations Barcelona for winning but I have to say what the fook happend to us after the first 10 minute spell? we come out of the blocks like a team on a mission and faded from then on apart from the goal. Must say I expected more from Man Utd on the night.

 

As for Giggs? that bird seemed to have got well into his head! he's a big game player and was pretty poor for his sdandards.

 

I THOUGHT GIGGS WAS PISS POOR BUT SADLY WE SHOULDNT BE RELYING ON HIM NOW, MESSI'S ONE TWO OFF CARRICK SPOKE VOLUMES TO ME (HES NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO GOVERN A WORLD BEATING TEAM LIKE UNITED.

 

I think we are in transistion still and this year we should add some power in the middle.

How come Giggs always gets it in the neck? It's been happening ever since he turned 30. I didn't think his performance was worse than anybody else's last night, in fact he was involved in and set up Rooney's goal, which was a cracker from the start of the move to the finish.

 

Is it any wonder that we're so hated when our fans often react like that to one of the best servants our club has ever seen. The man has been playing at the highest level for over 20 years at one of Europe's top clubs & is still making telling contributions to winning silverware. At any other club he's be held up as some kind of untouchable god. The whole team were made to look ordinary last night by the best team in the world. To single one man out is (IMO) unwarranted & unfair.

Lads....sometimes in top level sport you just gotta hold your hands up and accept you,ve been beaten by a far superior opponent......On that performance by Barcelona last night Utd,Liverpool,Chelsea or Arsenal could play them every night of the week and never beat them.....the fact Utd only lost 3-1 proves to me they are the best team in England !

Yous can sit talking about what Utd did wrong and what players didnt perform but sometimes you can only be as good as an opponent allows you to be if individually and as a team they are basically too good for you.

When they have the ball they make the pitch big when they dont have the ball they make the pitch small,they are technically brilliant,all have great vision and are all good athletes.......best side ive seen since ive been following the game and certainly no shame in losing to them.

Spot on, i carnt really had to that, but i do belive Rooney is in that class of footballers like in the Barcelona team. And if it were poss to have 4 more players like him of is calbiber, for utd or england it would have been a very differnt game

Giggs has had one bad season a few years back and i couldnt believe the crys for him to be sacked.

 

Without doubt Giggs has been a big influence in lifting the 19 crown.

You play some great attacking football at times but you look silly when your having your pants pulled down by lower clubs week in week out.
