johnny boy68 11,726
I remember Phil Parkes in goals,on the wing Alan Devonshire,Billy Bonds and Frank Lampard. Didn't they win a FA cup around then Trevor Brooking diving header?

Didn't they win a FA cup around then Trevor Brooking diving header? Not sure id call it a diving header, the ball kind of hit his head and he fell over ....1980 against Arsenal.....still the last time a team from outside the top flight of English football has ever won the fa cup Dont forget Alvin Martin,Ray Stewart,Geoff Pike,Stuart Pearson.....and of course 17 year old Paul Allen the youngest ever player to come on in a cup final, clean through on goal only to be wiped out by a big dozey ginger jock ! They were the days. Edited May 27, 2011 by gnasher16
