They have been going for a few years now and have been used a lot by disabled people who cant reel the fish in as we can. Like everything there is always a good use for them. I seem to remember that Anglers Afloat had a charity fish to raise money for a young lad who was disabled so they could present the wee boy with a moterised reel. Great stuff.

You might all hate Robson Green but he is the only one bringing fishing to terrestrial TV and he seems to be the only one showing the reality of fishing. Most of the only shows especially on sky always talk about the best thing is to let them go, that doesn't always happen.

the skipper looked pretty concerned when he hooked the big one lol , i think that fella needs to up his game and find out what it is instead of pussy footing around with that gear , chain and winch should suffice

If you have got something big like that you should try and play it on the drag rather than winch it up, no wonder the line breaks the knuckle head.

No wonder they always break off, i would have thought that the skipper being out as many times would have been curious and tried to get one up.

best job on the telly , i couldnt fish with him,,, all that screaming like a girl , better to put him on a big set up and use him as a livebait for tiger sharks,, give him somet to scream about  as for the reels they good for disabled anglers and fish that live very deep waters

Would you fancy trying to reel whatever that fish was up from that depth???? Not a feckin chance, it was stripping the line against the bloody motor!!! That woulsd take hours to land on conventional gear if at all.

Bloody good program just a shame he is a tad irritating screaming all the time like he's caught his balls in his zip!
