NewHW100 S quick fill question

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys hope someone can help.

I Just got a brand new Hw100s yesterday. When using the quick fill adapter to try and fill cylinder,it is not reaching 200 bar,and air seems to be escaping from the tiny hole on the underside of the cylinder(the gun one).I took the black plug out and fully inserted the quick fill adapter and tried to fully pressureise upto 200 bar ,but it only reaching bout a 150 bar.

Any ideas why it comes out this tiny hole?

cheers for looking.

If it's brand new take it back. There is no point risking fixing it yourself, it will void your new warranty.

Or try calling Hull Cartridge on 01482 342756 and explain the problem. They are the importer/main dealer for Weihrauch in the UK.

If you do want to have a go yourself, here is an exploded diagram

You could try removing the air cylinder from the gun and re-attaching it. But I wouldn't risk messing with it.

Cheers ,but i dont think anything is wrong with it,more like i'm doing it wrong.I defo won't be messing about with it ,considering what it cost.

Forgot to mention the cylinder wasn't oattached to the gun at the time.would this make a differance?

Maybe just too used to using the buddy bottle on the S16.

It shouldn't make a difference.

When my cylinder is off the gun, I can fill it the old fashioned way or via the quick fill with no problems. Even when the cylinder is completely empty I can fill it to 200bar via the quick fill.

It can't be you. It has to be the cylinder.

Hi mate, i have to agree with Mazing. I've got a HW100 and i don't get any problems wacking the pressure upto 200bar,personally i would take it back to the gun shop, I'm sure they'd sort you out without any drama.

Hi mate

THe most common cause is the O rings on the fill probe....even new, one of them is easily nicked /split causing the air to come out of the "blow hole" and not directed into the cylinder as it should, replaced the ones on both of mine and no more problems.....always pays to keep spare ones just in case ;)
