FPO 0
congrats just come in from first lot of milking, you nearly ruined my day!!! when saw she had been nicked. Anyway glad you got her back. Do you think your mum would let her in your house? just incase the b******* had the nerve to come back? Sounds like micro chipping might be a good idea. Well done. Would be gutted if either of my two went missing and one is only 12mths so know how you must have felt. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Exactly what I came here to say, FPO; Learn from it and get the damn Dog inside the house. Of Course it'll happen again! Only next time she won't be found. I have valuable items of property here. I keep them inside my house. I don't take them down to my 'stock sheds and rely on peoples good nature not to come help themselves. Do ye keep ye guns in a shed out back? Ye DVD Player? All this stuff about " A Working Dog is a tool / They like - need to be kennelled outside " is so much macho bullshit, in my personal opinion. I have expensive tools here. Inside my cottage. I have an entire damn Cow Byre to store them in, but no. I keep them in doors. Doesn't mean they can't be got at, but it sure helps! My Dogs are in here with me as I speak. Try coming for one of my Dogs in the dead of night! With the five of us here, all together, all the night, I can promise ye: Come after any of them and things would happen very fast. Only way I'd leave my Dogs down in those sheds of a night would be if I was in there with them. As it is, we all lay here, watching over my tools and other valued posessions. To allow otherwise is simply inviting the inevitable. Quote Link to post
