Where to get split rings

Hi guys Im going to start making two stop nets soon,In long netting from peg to peg it says to start off on a split ring where could I get one from or could I not

use a large key ring thingy?

have a look on ebay but i used a large key ring thingy?

Or you could start it off on a purse net ring, then cut the ring off when the net is complete. All you will lose is one row of mesh.

you can get large split rings from here onestop-key-rings.co.uk i,ve got 75 mm split rings and one thats 120 mm its the sort for holding lots of keys and gets joined by a small threaded furrel
