Hi Everyone,

I'm Bushy Palmer (Brian) and I've just joined the forum. I live in Thornton in Sunny ( well windy this last couple of days) Fife.

My main passion is flyfishing for wild brown trout. When I'm not fishing- I'm planning my next fishing trip, or tying flies for my next fishing trip, or dreaming about my next fishing trip :D . During the closed season I used to fish for Stocked Rainbow trout but found that to be like methadone to a heroine addict (you can't beat the real thing  )- so the last couple of years I got into rod building over the winter which now gives me something else to do over the winter ( as well as tying my usual 40,000 flees!)

Rather oddly however, I don't eat fish - I can't stand it  and return 100% of all the fish I catch unharmed  but I do love game and that's what's got me to thinking about air rifles and ultimately to finding this forum.

Apart from a few brief shots on a range some 25odd years ago- I've never even held a firearm of any sort and hence will probably redefine the term "newbie" on here.

So in essence- a complete begginer, over the coming few weeks I will take as much information re gun selection/ suppliers ect as anyone is willing to part with gratefully. I would love to say it will be reciprical but to be honest, unless the subject matter drifts over to "where's the best places to fish in Sutherland?" - then I may struggle to bring anything to the table for a while.

Having read a few posts here in "stealth" mode I thought I'd better introduce myself.

Regards,

Brian
