whippet would bring the size of the cross down a good bit, also it would give agood nose and turning ability, iam led to believe some of the irish boys have used this cross, my self i would like to try this cross.

We've always got lurchers with a deerhound base, but I'm def leaning towards getting one with a decent amount of whippet soon. I was out with mine - deerhound/grey/saluki/bearded collie (26") and a whippet/grey/collie (about 21") belonging to a friend and although mine was faster, the whippet x had fantastic agility and could turn on a dime. Good luck finding a litter, I like the sound of the mix you're after!
