A good decision hopefully he will be found guilty and have to do a good stretch inside. The Police are supposed to enforce and uphold the law, not make it up as they go along then try and brush it und

the police are not above the law,I wouldnt get away with what he did and im not claiming to be protect the public.   he should be dealt with harsher than if it was any member of the public.

They sign up for the job and get payed for it - they are not some kind of volunteer heros. They know what they can and can't do when they sign up. If they cross the line, they have to deal with the co

To be honest, I am not normally a fan of second guessing the Army, Police, Ambulance or Fire service........in fact any of the agencies that are there to protect us should pretty much have free reign to get on with there job IMHO

In a highly charged situation, dealing with a baying mob of scroats all day intent on violence and destruction then some pissed bloke wanders into your way making a pain in the arse of himself while you have other serious things to consider....well, who knows what anyone in the same circumstances would have done....just f****d him out the road or asked hime nicely with bells on to move aside please sir?

I know what I would have done........

All that said, if the coroner and the CPS think there is a case to awnser then they should put him on trial as anyone else would have been on remand with the police trying for a murder charge from the outset.

IMHO, the very fact that we seem intent on taking some kind of perverse "revenge" everytime there is even a hint of wrong doing in the Police force is the very reason that copper now only seem to persue petty crimes/traffic tickets/hunting outside the ban......

If we gave them free reign to deal with serious stuff then I beleive they would do it and you would see a very different breed of coppers to some of the ones we have now....coppers that have no interest in persecuting the small man........

Look at the public "witch hunt" over those 4 coppers that beat the f**k out of that scumbag Rhodney King, a convicted serious fellon.....personally I wouldnt have cared less if they shot him, one less oxygen thief!

no they have quotas to fill in order to justify their budget, thats why they pick the easy targets,we dont need anywhere near the amount of police we have,so they make it look as if theyve got their hands full and the public doesnt want to cut their spending.

f*****g cowards enforcing unjust laws and i wish i believed in hell for the comfort it would bring knowing thats where theyre all going.

Look, I am no fan of the type of plod that do traffic or any other soft target but I try and take a considered view of these things, many of them do a job that does IMHO deserve respect.....I couldnt deal with junkies, peados, drug dealers and all the other myriad scum that inhabit this country daily.

I wouldnt want to visit the scene of a little childs murder, dont think I could.

But all I would say is, have a wander around a place like the North Peckham Estate late at night then see if you still hate the cops as much when the local spades are tearing you limb from limb.........I wonder if anyone would want a "politically correct" response from the police then?

If we had the right to bare arms in order to defend ourselves (which the police forcibly take away from us) i'd take you up on that.

So what you are saying that, in your opinion, a lawless society would be a better place to live :icon_eek:

I think folk should be allowed to keep firearms for personal protection in the house but I really wouldnt want random folk wandering around the streets, loosing off when ever they saw fit!!
