Fishing Tackle Auction Sites

Has anyone used them as there seems some bargains to be had? I joined this one below a while back and won a Shakespeare big S lure, I paid for it on the 10/05/2011 useing Paypal the same day I won but still no lure and also no replies after two emails.

Ok I won the item for £2.01 but I still expected to receive it :hmm:.

Never use them mate, most tackle dealers will give you such good deals off RRP now if you go and see them in the shop its not worth it.

Went to one of those big tackle sales at Thorpe Park once and the on the bank the stuff turned out to be shite, lesson learned

I have had a couple of rods off Anytackle without any problems. I think they have moved premises recently and had some issues with Royal Fail being shit. If you look on maggotdrowners the guy who runs Anytackle posts on there as Anytackle so you can pm him and take your problem to the guy at the top.

I go to newark show each year and to be fair they do some really good deals.. & i've never had any problems with it on the bank, except for a 'shimano' baitrunner, i found out the baitrunner didnt work when i had a screaming run & the rod nearly went in

Be honest you forgot to click the baitrunner switch really after casting in, didn't you! :whistling:
