  1. 1. Which of these two rifles would you buy to hunt with?

    • BSA Ultra Multi Shot, new out of the box.
      3
    • AA S410, new out of the box.

I know i must be getting on some of your nerves going on about this, but i just hate buying new tools, and like to try to get it right the first time and keep them until they crumble.

So i thought this poll might help finally make up my mind.

Any reasons for your choice would be welcome.

Cheers,

Jai.

s410 all the way mate great gun straight out the box says it all about a rifle when you buy it new and have to have it tweeked thats what pissed me off with my r10 to get the best out of them you need to put a couple of hundred into them even if bought new  with the s410 you fill it zero it and shoot it couldnt ask for more

Thanks lads this was EXACTLY what i was looking for

Someone mentioned something about the new s410's not being as good as the older models??? Or is that bull.

How would a tench regg'd Ultra compare to a new out the box AAs410 also? As the price difference between the two rifles would allow for getting the Ultra regg'd for the same total cost?

CHeers,

Both guns are very very accurate straight from the box.

All it comes down to is the reported problems with both guns, the price, weight? shot count?

I have had my AA for a while now and I enjoy shooting it very much, its a carbine so great for stalking with and shooting from the van.

10 shot mag that works well and a very useable 70 shots from a full charge before thinking about more holdover or filling up, so for hunting, no dramas.

Both guns are just as good as each other and in the end its down to your personal choice and how much you want to spend.

Which ever you get you will have good accurate shooting fun all round.

Ultra here, I love it's so short for shooting out of the truck, very accurate too. Comes with a moddy as standard, but it's not brilliant to be honest. That's the only fault I can find tbh, shot count is lowish at 30 or so but who shoots more than 30 bunnies with an airgun? Easy to charge up from a pump too.
