lurchergrrl 1,441
Have you considered a raw diet? If it has to be commercial, I'd use James Wellbeloved biscuits - SOAKED before feeding

paulus 26
be cheaper to feed raw and a cheap complete as a mixer. 30 kilo of minced chicken £13 bag of arkwrights £7, so £20 to feed something the size of a big bull x for 30 days so less than 70p per day.

I get pet mince from the butcher for £1 a kilo. They do chicken which is minced carcass so has plenty of bone and marrow in it and a red meat one which is beef, lamb, offal etc. I feed a mixture of both. I also have a tupperware container that I throw all our food leftovers in and mix that into their food. I also get a couple of carrier bags full of bone each week from the butchers and all they ask is that I put a few quid in the charity box.
