there was an artical in the daily mail this week about a family in london whos king charles spaniel had been attacked in there garden by a vixen with cubs.they said they did not no what to do about itbecause there were so many charlies around the area.some bloke said that there are 30,000 foxes living in urban london.i reckon they should send us all a few each to keep us going through the winter.

I cant not see it being true them urban foxes are a different kettle of fish to rural ones they dont have the same fear of man or feel as threatend by them dotty is right they are super fast learners and it wouldnt suprise me if alot more domestic pets and fanny licking mutts are being taken as a food source but not been reported as being taken by a fox,also good luck finding the culprit that took the shitzu theres thousands of foxes in london and they dont hold territory like they do in a rural habitat

My sisters minature yorkie was taken from the garden by a fox,.She as distraught,I have to admit I was delighted,it was a right nasty little shite.I have heard of kittens being taken a while back too.

A mate that I dig with had just got a young black terrier pup back . He put it in the garden while he had a brew, then he heard the puppy screaming. He jumped up to see a fox running of with the pup in it's mouth. He started after , when the fox ran in an old garage and dropped the pup . The fox swerved his boot an ran of . The pup was wasn't harmed , but my mate believes he was going to be dinner!

The more these stories of fox attacks are put to press the better for our sport. it shows the public they are not a cute cuddly animal that lives on beatles and other insects.

I upset my 7 year olds teacher when they were set a home work about foxes, I told him that along with beatles, mice etc they ate lambs, pheasent, kittens and hens as part of their normal diet. She sent me a letter saying I didnt know what I was talking about and shouldnt be telling my child such lies. My better half has advised (warned really)me not to respond as it would go against my lad as that is the type of person that teacher is.

 

If thats what the teachers are like the kids will never belive what is really happening until its all over the press.

I live just outside north london and spend alot of time in north london, when driving back from nights out there is foxes all over the place...right across the road from people at kebab houses waiting for scraps etc!! I'v parked up before and got out the car and right on the other side of a picket fence was a fox rooting through rubbish, didn't care about me at all, No fear.

 

Also I'v heard of kids all over london going out with there dogs at night on urban fox hunts.
