ProHunt 0
I brought a tin of H&N sport (field target trophy) today. I've read some good reviews on them and couldn't wait to give them a go, so I set up a pellet trap about 20 yards out and got shooting. My first grouping was terrible, about a 4 inch spread and when I say spread I mean spread, 2 inches to the right then 2 to the left, just no constancy to work with! I wrote that test off thinking it must be me getting to exited and not taking my time. With a new target in place I started round two, with each shot I composed myself, took a couple of deep breaths then squeezed the trigger. The same thing happened again! I know I'm not an Olympic class marksmen or anything but I'm better then this! By this point I was thinking the worst, that something may be up with my rifle, so I grabbed my old faithfuls (air arms diabolo hunters) and tried again. 1/4 inch groupings, now that's more like it. I'm sure H&N have people who swear by them but my rifle hates them. That's £11 down the drain! Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
That's airguns for you, mate, what works well in one gun can be crap in another. Even in guns of the same type. You've been unlucky though, FTTs tend to work well in most guns. What rifle is it you're using, mate? Cheers. Quote Link to post

Alex Arrigone 24
when i change pellets it tends to take 40 or so through the barrell to re-lead it before you get accurate groupings. might have been that atb alex Quote Link to post
