seany 54
I used cuprinol on the outside and a water based varnish on the inside but I'll be doing a square of none led based gloss in the bob corner soon its starting to need it ATB Seany Quote Link to post
popnoodle 4
after an hour of crying about the b and q website being useless then changing to google ive found that the cuprinol garden shades range is ok but people tend to mix linseed oil in because its not effective enough otherwise. another that people seem to think is brilliant is the cuprinol ducksback as its wax based so its a bit more waterproof. both say suitable for around pets in the info if you look on enough websites thanks for the point in the right direction seany Quote Link to post
seany 54
Your welcome popnoodle.I think as long as everything is dry you will be fine mate, but to be honest with you cuprinol's and the like are all the same in my opinion they just stick a different label on them lol ATB Seany Quote Link to post

popnoodle 4
spent all of today painting the hutch and trying to make a table for it to raise it off the floor, better not fall over when i finish tomorrow lol the cuprinol stuff got lower fume emissions and is wax and water based so its less poisonous if the ferret or the neighbours kid chews on it Quote Link to post
