Hi , just looking for some information on lamps , wondering what you guys use , which you think are bad or good , and which you think arnt bad for the price ,etc

Getting new one myself for this year and from what l have seen and heard you cant go wrong with a lazerlight 170.

depends what distance your lamping. i have a lightforce striker that i use mostly for distance, and i like the clulite for little fields..

i have the light force LANCE lamp with a 30watt bulb in, it does me a treat. i have the STRIKER reflector housing that i use sometimes when i feel that i need the extra distance with the beem.

Striker= perfect for almost any distance of lamping. Turn the head widen the beam short or opposite narrow and long enough beam for any chase. Blitz lights up whole field and battery dies in no time and lancer not powerful enough for all chases. ATB Striker

Had a clulite ok for rabbits but not good enuff for bigger fields so then got a blitz briliant lamp good beam great for bigger game but a bit big to carry about on foot al night on your own with a dog so just bought a u caller 170 strong good lamp and cheaper than the striker highly recomended

dont know how close you are mate but KEENS GUN SHOP in ABERKENFIG used to be pretty reasonable get the 170 lamp

i will 2nd the ucaller 170 lamp great bit of kit and much cheaper than strikers and better built in fact they are really just a copy of them but better built ebay band new 50 quid delivered 17 amp battery about 22-25 quid delivered

Just being on e bay looking at the ucaller 170 are they just for top off gun or hand held

yes i second that i just had one 40 pound cheaper than lightforce and just the same also got filter 15 pound lightforce was 22 they are made3 at same place but with out lightforce name on it
