JimBoo 1
hey everyone, 3 days ago i got myself a stunner of a lurcher she's 11 weeks old and she's a Australian cattle dog x saluki greyhound, i dont think this is a comma mix but from what ive looked up the cattle dog is just the Australian version of a collie, correct me if im wrong has im new the this game but ive allways had a strong interest in greyhounds and lurcher's and all working dogs, her legs and paws are huge and you can allready tell shes goin to be a big dog when she gets older, this is the first puppy ive had and i wnt to start her off in the right way so any help you can offer will be put into practice cause up for the challenge, and want a great working dog, Quote Link to post

JJJ 1
Funny you should mention wierd australian x....I had to do some research the other day as I'm on the look out for another pup/young dog and came across a Kelpie x whippet on a sale site... So had to look up kelpie and again its a true original Australian sheep dog, much the same character (so is said) as a collie. Looks like a short haired slender german shepherd. The autrailian cattle dog is a simalar breed and looks very similar. If any thing the ACD looks shorter in the leg from the pics I can see. Edited May 20, 2011 by JJJ Quote Link to post
JJJ 1
lol all the pics ive got on my computer guys are to big to attach, any ways around this ? , shes got fields and golf corse aplenty around here she still needs to have her jabs though has shes just been brought up in a kennel for 11 weeks cause she loves cuddles, but i am takeing her for cheeky walk twice a day for a good hour a time, Open the photo in PAINT and then go to Image.....Stretch/Scew.....in the stretch box's reduce the size of the photo enough to make it under 100k file size( the limit for the site). If the camera your using is a good one 5meg or bigger you'll have to reduce the picture down to 10 or 20% to do this. After youve done this SAVE AS and rename the photo so you dont loose the full sized one hope this helps Edited May 20, 2011 by JJJ Quote Link to post
