You don't hear of horses killing people very often, let alone in this manner. RIP little one. Edited May 19, 2011 by judge2010

Ratreeper 441
If it was a dog, whichever breed would be banned or come under some kind of media shit storm Although because it is a horse, it will be dealt with rationally as a freak accident/event that it was. Why would you let an 18-month child that close to a horse in a paddock though? Don't trust horses, that's my message
nicola1804 114
Stupid cow should'nt of had an 18 mnth old kid near a horse you cant trust them 100%, mine got me a good one the other day and has never bitten before.
Ideation 8,216
Aye always makes you wonder why people do these things. Even if the horse had just got spooked and a bit jumpy, it would still put a child that age / size at risk in an enclosed paddock. Mind you having said that, quite rare i'd say that a horse expressed its anger like that.
nicola1804 114
Mine has never bitten before shes not a nasty horse thank god as shes 17.1hh. I was mucking her out with just a vest top on she was nuzzeling my arm then all of a sudden she grabbed me and it didnt tickle. Im putting it down to the bare skin I supose think she thought she could eat me lol if it had been a child it could of been a broken arm or worse like the 18mth old.
