I.ve seen these all the time when I was a kid now older i.ve not seen any for years as any one seen these why been out and about

 

Sat in Wentwood forest last Summer having a picnic with the missus.... She said 'what the f**k was that?' and jumped up spilling her drink. Looked around and there were about 7 or 8 viviparous lizards (the common one in the UK) dashing about in the grass around us. Absolutely amazing! We watched them for 10 minutes. Never seen it before, probably never shall again. Theay are actually very common indeed, just that they are seldom seen.

I remember finding slow worms in my back garden and shitting myself thinking it was a snake...can tell im from london ay . Not seen any lizards though other than newts lol
