I remember the first time i was ever in phils yard was to pick up 2 fell pups. The dam was with the pups and when i asked about the sire he pointed to a black dog that was running around with about 50.60 more black terriers all loose,i had to laugh and so did he,pups actually were very good in the end.He had some amount of lurchers there that time aswell, and also the wheaton dog rambo. He chatted about dogs for about 2hours,gave us tea and sandwiches and sent us up the road happy men after listening to some of his stories.A true old school hunter.
