Hi Riffraff. Just a thought mate, when you need to take the buddy bottle off the rifle to re charge, are you giving it a half turn to loosen it, and then cocking and firing the rifle to lower the pressure before undoing it completely? You will hear the shot getting weaker and weaker, then its ok to unscrew fully. Could be some dammage, hope not, but heres a link to a new valve should you need it. http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?search=yes&bc=no&catalogid=266 ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post

moxy 617
If you run the pressure right down, ie shoot say 100+ shots, there wont be enough pressure in the bottle to keep the valve shut. All of mine do it. The air doesent hiss out at great pressure, more of a low constant flow. If its doing it when you have just charged the buddy bottle then there is definately a fault with the valve. Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
With the buddy bottles as in the above post if the pressure drops to -90bar then there is insufficient pressure to keep the valve closed. Once filled you shouldn't have any problems. Just be careful of contamination when it's like that ie stopping the valve fully closing Also what Bill said, give the bottle a 1/2 turn and cock and fire the rifle a few times till the pressure drops before removing the bottle Darryl Quote Link to post
