HELP PLEASE LADS

alright lads anyway just started my dog about 3weeks ago at the age ov 16 mounths its had about 8 rabbits day time and now about 10 nighttime it did until last night first time its been out by its self bring every last one back to hand alive then last night while out lamping it turned hard mouthed not really hard the rabbits where not compleaty mangled but still.

now the thing i want to no is it becasuse of what the dog has seen i.e last week on me mates farm took my pal and his dog was taking every rabbit out of other dogs mouths and killing them and also wouldnt come back with the rabbits or realy when called now the dog of mine started doing it last night not bad but still bad enough when you want it to come straight back to you pisses you right of the dog is a suluki collie bull grey befor you jump in and say its the bull alot of people will no there are meany of soft mouthed bulls what only go hard mouth when needed so mayby it is becasuse of what happened at the farm let me no your thoughts as it only happend after that day i no it will be to late to turn it soft mouthed again but next time i will no for sure if a want to take any pups out with dogs like that

a couldnt give a f**k if you think i shouldnt be hunting now the fact of the matter is in what i aksed nothing to do with what time of yeear it is im bringing the dog on the young to get it ready for next season i dont no of any lurcher or terrier men hu stay in for the season end so jog on pal looking for an argument if you stay in from now till september more fool you becasuse there will be some 1 els to take your boots so why not take them your self muppit

Before i start dont go all abusive and call me a muppet or i'll cry :cry: Personally I would work the dog alone without the influence of another dog, the hard mouth could be caused as the dog returns he doesn't want to give the catch up due to jealousy. Perhaps its time to go back to basics away from the field and then try again when the season starts?

yeah thats what i was thinking pal and i dont get abusive unles there are jumped up wankers who coment like the other 2 i no the obvious and i am starting the dog on the easy catchs like any person would and if they stay in and have never hunted out of season then fair deeds but i bet 99% of people on hear have hunted out of season 1 or a few times in there life time fact but cheers

if u didnt know [bANNED TEXT] the dog was like why the f**k u go out with it...jesus..wud u get a learner driver teach u how to drive?? no ud find some one experianced..more fool you, enjoy the new season.... even tho u have started early on young rabbits :hmm:

like i said not going to start my dog on mad march hairs am i some people dont like rabbits on there land dont matter what stage of there life they at they all trouble jog on pal
