Guest blitz Posted May 18, 2011 Report Share Posted May 18, 2011 ive just or should i say had got 3 hens given for my 7 year old son and permission of same chap to keep on his field in 6/4 garden shed we went down to day and 2 hens gone feathers all over and third bird had no head ive put a cat trap type cage with the body of hen in and hope we get it my son devastated will get him couple more when fox is dead or gone ps it will be humanely put down if caught firstly mate you,ll need a bigger trap than a cat type.2nd .after you catch the fox it won,t be long till another moves on .so you,ll have to make security as good as can be .and always lock them up before dusk.
