TOMO 26,038
was the bondage article not written be hosker,,, im shure the photo with the article was of hoskers spud and another fawn looking lurcher............not that it realy matters, good read those two books Quote Link to post
Neal 1,857
I've just checked and both articles are in volume 1. They're not attributed to anyone so presumably written by the editor. The article which grabbed my attention when I read it all those years ago was one in volume 2 entitled "Letter From New Zealand" which featured a kelpie x whippet called Sandy which was used for catching goats. comanche 2,940
1988! This would be an O M G moment but text talk is not allowed . My daughter has still has the copy of volume one of the Lurcher journal that you signed for her at a show in Petworth Park . The glue is still holding The old Shooting News was brilliant .Just about anyone could submit an article and it would be printed . Then there would be weeks of 'healthy' debate in the letter page . Thankfully the internet came along and put a stop to that sort of unseemly bickering . Edited May 19, 2011 by CHALKWARREN Quote Link to post
mackem 26,227
Thankfully the internet came along and put a stop to that sort of unseemly bickering I wonder how plummers books and articles would have fared nowadays with the internet giving everyone an instant voice Quote Link to post
