Are you thinking Berthalot's Pipit? :hmm:

 

i wasnt but just had a look at one. Its a bloodi tough one, what do you think then?

 

The way it was acting, i wouldnt have said it was young, it was feeding heavily...

Well, i didnt think it perched correctly for a pipit, but the angle of the shot may be decieiving. Also on closer examination the flecks are easily visable....Who's to say, its a hard guess, but maybe thats what bird it is.... :whistling:

well, we cant agrue on this one, lol. We will have to go with that, unless i shive through my pics and find another shot of it at a different angle. Or until another months time and i will see if i can recapture the bird for another pic.... Would you like me to put up a better pic of the bird flying away in the other post?

Yes, as it was a bit of a tricky one, ...especially for someone who has lead such a sheltered life as myself... :big_boss: lol
