come on then lads whats the best method bearing in mind its 1/4 collie and 1/4 saluki and it,s 6 monthes so could be a bit sensitive to being too heavy handed on her thanks

post-15985-0-45575500-1305663320_thumb.jpgno need to be heavy handed,if dog is young enough and not been entered it is fairly easy,just walk close and through all livestock regularly completely ignore them if the dog shows any interest just a sharp pull on its lead should do,dont do anymore,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if the dogs older and been entered or already been chasing livestock,YOUR ON YOUR OWN.this method has always worked for me and my dogs are saluki saturated.

one method i have used is to take the dog to a beast market a few times and walk among the sheep and cattle ! and a fairly safe inviroment they aint going to ru off and chase ;)
