how long into running dogs

Was first taken out lamping/ferreting when i was 6 years old, 34 now so 28 years all told, had a long lay off though, could'nt give the dog the time it deserves but missed it like hell, started going out again a while back and got terrier, lurcher and ferrets plus my lad loves it he's only 5 would be out every day and night if his mother would let him

for me it was past from father to son i 43 in 12 days and can not remember never having a lurcher in the yard..jack

since a was about 10 use to go out with me older cousin n uncle then me n me bro bought a merle dog pup for a fiver off some travellers without our parents permission just brought it home and hoped for the best kept it he grew into a big lad had some good hares with him he got stolen at two half years of age had running dogs ever since. 30 now so 20 years and counting dont think i would have any other type of dog

had me first when i was 10, started of with the smaller type and now im 32 and ended up with big dogs, but as time goes on im sure i will go back to the smaller type

and pukerk your older bros first started on the running dogs with me and my son lee and to all the members out there pukerk is a great example to all young lurchermen because whebn a dog goes to him its with him for life regardless .pity there wasnt more like him with their dogs .

Was six when my first lurcher came in, 44 now, so it's 38 years! Still gettin a buzz, still learnin too, no ones too old for that.

I got into lurcher's in my late teens so that's 14 years ago, but have only just been able to get my own for myself last year. I know I will never be without one, just took a long time to convince my wife that it was a good idea! Now she's the same and is on about another.

riohog snap be great if we could turn the clock back but still know what we know now lol.and rocky yes we are still looking for that great dog but tend to enjoy the ones that arnt so great more than we would have when we were youngsters when the main thing was that your dog caught more than your mates and with more style.

lol i could run aswell back then ..lol , needed to aswell a few times happy days. lots of game about was good fun .. still get the buzz !!
