New CZ HMR Or Second hand Ruger

Just got my ticket back and want to purchase me a new HMR. Was planning on getting a new CZ Style as I loved my old one (Great guns once trigger is sorted) probably cost around 400sh, but a guy I know is selling a Ruger laminate with Stainless barrel, mint nic for the same price. What you guys reckon? Apparently the Ruger has been shortened and had the trigger done. Thanks guys

Hmmm Ruger is nice,, but after handling one at a show, I reckoned I made the right choice with the CZ, get the trigger kit and you have a superb gun,,CZ wins

Exactly, you don't have to worry about rifle history that way. I have a new CZ 455 (TH) (£445)trigger done as part of the deal and it is great, I was shooting Rabbits tonight and never missed a beat out to about 150 yards.

I would have to vouch for the Ruger. Iv handled a few and the trigger on them is VERY good. The action is nice and smooth and all in all a very good rifle. If you want value for money go for the CZ but if you want more, the Ruger will suit you down to the ground.
