Local news the other day, a lad broke into a secluded farm house in the late hours, had a do with the owner after frightening the life out the wife and got away with a caution because he had no previous convictions . How many times before had he burgled and not been caught?? How many times doing burgalary does it take to get a conviction? legislation has been proposed to be changed this week, going on the serverity of the crime and the impact it has on the victim! Its all bol**x. Gets 15 years for delivering drugs he knew nothing about, he will serve at least half of that and yet lesser so with good behaviour and let out on licience/probation.
