new rat permission

As some of you may know while attending chaz and davys THL meet the other week i had a phone call from my wife (who had gone to collect us a couple of pigs) asking if i would be interested in some vermin control on the small holding where she had collected them from.

She said that they had issues with the number of rats they have and needed them controlled.

 

So after a week or so of trying to find the time to get there i rounded up the troops ie davy,chaz,paul and myself and arranged to pay them a visit.

 

I got there before the troops to get some paper work signed for permission purposes and show them my insurance etc etc.

 

After a bit of a look around to see where the hot spots were etc the troops arrived 8pm.

 

It was just starting to get dusk so we split up and set up our own little base all knowing exactly where each other was at all times as its not the biggest area.

 

 

Then battle commenced us against the rats.

 

chaz:Air Arms s410 .177 on the lamp

davy:Air Arms S410 .177 on the lamp

my self:Air Arms s410 .22 nite vision

paul:bsa scorpion .22 on the lamp

 

 

 

we could just about hear how each other was getting on.

After 2-3 hours we decided to call it a night and picked up our bag.There was many that couldnt be picked up as they were under sheds and in walls ect.

 

We are planing a visit next week to bag some more of these large vermin and try to get a control on it.

I've seen you all shoot at the last meet, Be good to see some Pic's and some of Daveys Scopecam Sniping if Possible, I see Pauls been out numbered by the Air arms Mafia !!!!!!!!.

me and wor kid had a shoot on a ratting permission the other night and it made a brilliant change good luck on th new permission you failed to put the scores up as well did paul show the 410's up

hi gary you cant beat a good bit of ratting as they are such dirty

 

As for the scores im sure davy only droped a couple as normall but count wise im not to sure!

If you only count the ones collected 15 or 16 but you know as well as i do you never manage to collect all that was shot.

Hiya Mate,

 

Awaiting new scope mounts as the other type without the Pin to lock to Breech started to creep back moving my P.O.I out after about 7-10 shots so not used it for a couple of days,

on a Good note should get my Rapid MK 2 Lefthand Drive next week so can't wait to have my first ever PCP.
