As for me dragging english football into it, if you read back, I wasn't the one who started dragging it into it but I will comment on it as I see fit. Your problem gnasher is you can't believe that anyone wouldn't like english football and at the same time, enjoy scottish football. It's ok for you to be disparaging towards my game but I can't towards yours because yours is supposedly ferior. Tell me, say you have a house worth 1/4 million all paid for no morgage but your next door neighbour has a house worth 2 million but has a morgage and debt of 4 million and he started looking down his nose at you, thinking he is better than you. Would you feel inferior? I know I wouldn't and thats how I see your league compared to mine. Before you come back and say you have better quality players, big deal. I watched my team in the Scottish Cup final, you'll be hard pushed to find better goals in the prem from what I saw in that game. Not as much diving in our game, not as much cheating.... you get my drift. But this is the thing you can't understand, everything in life is in the eye of the beholder. I can love something you don't, does that make me wrong and you right? Seems to be. As for the amount I've posted, thats because I get into a lot of conversations with people and comment a lot, it is what the forums are for. BTW, I don't know if you know this but a lot of lurcher work is done at night, if you want to learn anymore, just ask Baw...i,ll keep this simple as i think you will understand me better,what we have here is not a difference of opinion,its a basic difference of character...and i stress,i AM NOT being impolite or looking down my nose at you i dont do that,i could tell you a few things that would prove i dont look down my nose at folk but to do so would sound like im doing exactly that ! I am a purist mate....i love the pureness of competetive sport be it boxing,football or a simple 100 yard dash.....for me it is all about winning i dont buy all that its how you play the game bollocks.....so for that reason i want to compete with and against the best at the highest level possible no matter what the consequences.......you stated above that you wouldnt want Celtic to come down here and play against " that lot ".....that tells me for you it is not about the pureness of competition....i want the highest competition for both myself and my club.....you are clearly happy to play and win every year in a piss poor league knowing theres far better competition down the road...some would call that a lack of ambition,i would just call it a different make up of character. As for your hunting and private life.....its none of my buiseness we all fit into our lives what time dictates we can,if i wasnt ill at the moment i couldnt and wouldnt want to be on here this much......we all do as we see fit so no problem. Is it just becasue you would like to keep it English teams only....?. Ive said it before mate i would like them down here.....if Swansea or Cardiff can be playing the likes of Liverpool/Man Utd then so should Celtic and Rangers.....do i think it will ever happen,no because it will finish Scottish football....and after all said and done you need us more than we need you and i dont mean that disrespectfully....but on the whole i would like to see Rangers/Celtic start off in the lowest English division and work there way up which they would....its the only fair way to do it.....whether they would reach the premier league im not sure probably in time and that would be good,im all for the pureness of competition best against best so im all for it. Think thats the problem with scottish football at the moment when you are part of the old firm, no matter how well you do there is no further level to aspire too, , You talk some shit at times lab lol. There is no further level to aspire to cos we are in the top level. Thats the same with all leagues, you can only go to the top. I could see the point of your argument if we'd actually won this league we are in and were the Champions of Europe etc, etc.... Plenty of things for our club to aspire to, plenty of football here in Scotland. Too many people wanting to knock our game I'm afraid. The Old Firm games are one of the most anticipated derbies in the world, we had 7 this season and everyone I was as excited to see as the last. Just cant get enough Slight problem there and you know it........were never going to hit the hieghts of the C/L though are we? If we do get a cracking couple of players threw the door then there sold of to keep our debts down.. Yes we might get another we run in the Uefa but i want more than that, i want to win the C/L final not just try and make it passed xmas,i want to have more nail biting games than just the old firm matches and i want to be in a league where theres a chance that another team might just be able to help you out at the end of the season.....competition is what i'm after... f mac.......shite photo, glad you like my avatar though............ Right maybe i should have put it better, maybe not selling players but not keeping what we have Bellamy, Robbie Keane, Naka, Boruc all these players might still be there and lets see what happens with Kayal and Izzy too in the transfer market. Few seasons back we could have spent a bit of money and buried rangers once and for all. And this will continue now for ever more.....if you win the league then theres no need to spend the bucks for next season, if you lose the league then the fans force the board to get there wallets well and truly out....... I know were never going to move down south, they have made that pretty clear plenty of times..........you cant stop thinking "what if" though..............IMO of course.... They take over 50% of the Spanish leagues TV revenue - £125 million each per year between them. The premier league pays £50 million to the winning club, and £30 million to the bottom placed club. Ok, lets speak hypothetically. I don't want my team to join the english prem in its current format. We would be seen as beggers and you know it. The fact your arrogant about it the now proves that. I would however be happy to see both the Scottish prem and english prem league being scrapped with a British League evolving. Top 6 Scottish teams, top 12 english with the bottom 2 scottish teams relegated and bottom 4 english ones relegated. Should be interesting. Would you be happy with that? Baw you see the truth as arrogance.....just because something is a certain way dont make it arrogant just because we dare to actually say it ! No i wouldnt be happy with the top 6 Scottish clubs going into 1 top British league....simply because the other 4 top Scottish teams could barely compete in our lowest divisions,and you know it. You would then have the 13th and 14th best English clubs playing at a lower level than Scottish clubs they would beat week in week out,wheres the sense in that......thats not competition thats charity ! Why should we bend over backwards and change the whole structure of our game just to accomodate small Scottish clubs with attendancies of 3,000 at the expense of already big clubs with big gates who play a far better standard football. Lets not close our eyes to it,you have 2 clubs up there who could possibly hold their own in the Englsih premier league....and the English premier league whether you like it or not is possibly the strongest league in world football......if the fact ive dared to say that makes me arrogant then i think your problem is your own.
